Therapedic TheraLuxe HD ICE
Everest Pillowtop

Reviews
5/5

The Therapedic TheraLuxe HD Everest Pillowtop is a lateral step from the Whitney and uses softer, but the same quality, materials to achieve a slightly softer feel, allowing for more pressure point relief for hips and shoulders. Built with NanoCoil® micro-coils, firm natural latex, and a high-density foam core, this mattress delivers exceptional support, responsiveness, and pressure relief. Unlike the Whitney Firm, the Everest features an XtraCool® cooling stretch-knit cover, making it ideal for hot sleepers. Adjustable base-friendly and backed by a 20-year warranty, the Everest is perfect for those seeking durability with extra comfort and breathability.

Stretch-knit fabric is enhanced with XtraCool™ Technology, which helps regulate temperature and wick away moisture for a cooler, more comfortable sleep. TheraTuft™ tufting adds durability by securing layers together, preventing shifting over time.

2 inches of 2.1 lb High-Performance foam is more durable,
supportive, and resilient than standard-density quilt foams (1.1–1.5 lb), which breaks down faster and loses its shape over time.
*An additional inch in the quilt vs the firmer model below it, the Jackson Firm, allows more conformity for hips and shoulders.

2 inches of 3 lb HyPURGel™ Ultra-Premium Foam. This is among the most important layers of material in the Everest as it provides the softness and durability on top of the firmer, latex later below.

1 inch of GOLS Certified Natural Dunlop Latex provides body-impression resistance, ease-of-movement, and additional breathability.

19 Gauge NanoCoil® takes the place of a foam layer, providing more breathability and durability than can foam.  The NanoCoils respnosd even faster, helping make the surface of the mattress even more responsive and lively.

1" High-Density Foam replaces the Insulator pad of the Jackson to separate the comfort layers and the foam and to allow for a slightly more conforming feel in the Whitney.

The TheraEdge™ Ultra Firm Foam Edge Encasement System reinforces the mattress perimeter with solidly glued 3 inch, 50 lb compression, high-density foam, preventing edge sagging and maximizing the usable sleep surface.

The TheraLuxe QLX® HD All-Quantum Pocketed Spring Unit features 17-gauge, stress-relieved, and tempered wire, designed for heavy-duty use. With 1872 springs in a queen size, this system provides enhanced durability

A 1.5-inch extra heavy-duty balanced base polyurethane foam is glued to the bottom of the TheraEdge™ foam encasement, adding extra stability and ensuring long-term durability.

The HD Stands for HEAVY DUTY.

The Therapedic TheraLuxe HD ICE Everest Pillowtop is built for larger sleepers who desire actual durability, support, and longevity ALL from a mattress on the softer side. The additional layers include NanoCoil® and Dunlop latex, providing increased durability, breathability, and responsive, lively feel even for a firmer mattress.

A Mattress Collection Built. To. Last.

Every day we hear consumers grow frustrations with products that wear out too soon—appliances that break in just a few years and furniture that doesn’t hold up. A bed shouldn’t be one of them. At Mattress Mart, we believe your mattress should be a durable investment, not a short-term purchase. That’s why we proudly carry the TheraLuxe HD line by Therapedic—designed to provide long-lasting support, exceptional durability, at an outstanding value. Crafted with higher-density foams and a stronger spring system than most beds, these mattresses hold their shape night after night, even for the largest sleepers. Backed by one of the industry’s strongest warranties, the TheraLuxe HD Collection is built to outperform and outlast ordinary beds. Pair it with an adjustable base or the Therability™ Heavy Duty wooden foundation, featuring 20 cross-slats, 2×4 bracing, and a 105-lb build weight (queen size) for unmatched stability. If you’re tired of mattresses that don’t last, it’s time for a change. We dare you to compare.

I've had this bed for around two years now and so far it's been great. Really it's been everything and more they said it would be. I'm not a small person and tend to go through beds pretty quick and have tried a lot of them, so you could say I'm kind of an expert. lol. If I get another year out of it, and it looks likely, it will be the longest i've had a bed. Yes, I'd recommend it!
