The Petoskey Extra Firm is the hardest bed we have in our stores.
Better For Stomach Sleepers
- While the feel of the Petoskey Extra Firm isn’t quiiite the hardest bed we’ve ever had, it is pretty darn close.. This lends itself to be better for most stomach sleepers who don’t want to sag into the bed the wrong way all night long. While the quilting provides some level of conformity, those who predominantly sleep on their side may find it a tad hard on hips and shoulders.
- Capitol Bedding is famous for its use of only the highest density foams for all of their beds, and the Petoskey Extra Firm is no exception. All foams in this firm bed are 1.5lb density and above. You won’t find many brands that use this level of materials at any price range.
Better on an Adjustable Base
- The Bolsa spring unit on the Petoskey Extra Firm is fully adjustable compatible. Pair the mattress with the Sealy Ease 3.0 for the perfect combination of a firm, hard feel that won’t sink and back-conforming goodness of the adjustable base.
One of the firmest mattresses in the store, if you’re looking for the only beds stronger, check out Therapedic’s entire HD line-up, specifically the Medicoil HD 1000 or TheraLuxe HD Jackson Firm. The Petoskey Extra Firm is a harder bed than the HD1000 or the Jackson, but internally the HD’s use a stronger spring and higher density upholstery for even greater durability.
